The Embassy of Nepal held a meeting with Mr. Félix Peinado Castillo, Director and Mr. Francisco Cana Cuéllar, Adviser at the International Labour Organization Office in Spain.
The meeting featured fruitful discussions on the issues faced by Nepali migrant workers in Spain and explored possible areas of collaboration to further promote their welfare, protection, and access to opportunities.
Both sides also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the fields of labour mobility, skills, workers’ rights, and inclusive employment practices.
The Embassy remains committed to working closely with relevant stakeholders to support and safeguard the interests of the Nepali community in Spain.

The Embassy of Nepal had the pleasure of welcoming students from IE University who recently returned from their enriching journey to Nepal, along with Prof. Borja Santos, Vicedean, Prof. Pablo Marco Blanco, Associate Vicedean and Prof. Santiago Sierra, Senior Associate Director of the School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs.

During the gathering, students shared vivid reflections from their experience across Nepal, highlighting the country’s remarkable sense of safety, its rich cultural heritage, deep spirituality, and the genuine warmth and friendliness of its people. Their insights brought to life the diverse itinerary they followed: from Kathmandu to the Manaslu region, capturing both adventure and meaningful cultural exchange.

This marks the sixth cohort of IE University students to visit Nepal, further strengthening the growing academic and cultural ties between Nepal and Spain.

We look forward to continuing this valuable collaboration and welcoming many more students in the years ahead.

नयाँ दिल्लीस्थित नेपाली राजदुतावासका अनुसार नेपालको कन्सुलर सेवा विभागबाट प्रमाणीकृत पुलिस रिपोर्ट पुनः नेपाली राजदुतावास, नयाँ दिल्लीबाट प्रमाणीकरण गर्न आवश्यक नरहेको जानकारी गराइन्छ। दुई दूतावासबीच भएको सहमतिअनुसार उक्त पुलिस रिपोर्ट सिधै नयाँ दिल्लीस्थित स्पेनिश राजदुतावासमा पेश गर्न सकिनेछ।
