🌳 A BIG THANK YOU! 👏😊

A big thank you to the member of the public and his son who kindly helped chop up and clear the fallen tree off Chesterfield Road today. Your help was greatly appreciated! 💙

The wind is certainly being a bit of a nuisance at the moment! 👀💨 Please take care when out and about, especially around trees and wooded areas.

Thanks again all! 🙌

🌧️👮‍♂️ A BUSY COUPLE OF DAYS! 👮‍♂️🌧️

It’s been a busy couple of days for us, even with Storm Austen causing a bit of damage to some of our local paths! 🌬️🌳

⚠️ A little reminder: If you’re out and about on the Five Pits Trails, please take extra care around trees and watch out for any fallen branches or potential hazards (I have also informed the council)

🚔 Patrols have also been carried out around Shetland Park following concerns about damage to the equipment. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the area especially during school holiday 👀

☕💬 We held our community catch-ups in Hilcote yesterday, spent a good stint out and about in Tibshelf and even managed to squeeze in a last-minute community catch-up today! 😊

A big thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat. It’s always great to have a natter and catch up! 🫶🏼

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Good luck to all the runners heading out from Clay Cross tomorrow! 😆💪🏼 Hope the weather is kind to you!

We’ll be back at it tomorrow, hopefully with a little less wind and a bit more sunshine! ☀️🤞🏼

Have a lovely weekend, everyone! 👋😊

👮‍♂️ Afternoon all! 👋

Some of our meetings have been cancelled this afternoon, so we’re taking the opportunity to get out and about and catch up with community! 😊

📍 We’ll be at the Tibshelf Co-op car park on High street from 1:30pm today.

If you’re passing, come over for a chat! It’s another opportunity to meet the team ask any questions, or get support and advice if there’s anything you need help with.

We look forward to seeing you! 👋🙂

🌞 Morning all! 👋🏼🚔

Today’s activities have already included a visit to TIBSHELF Secondary School this morning where we’ve been sharing advice around Halloween 🎃 and Firework/Bonfire Night safety 🔥🎆.

⚠️ SCAM CALL WARNING – PLEASE SHARE! 📞
We’ve had reports of fraudsters targeting people across the area pretending to be bank staff or police officers.
They may claim there’s suspicious activity on your bank account and ask you to transfer money to a “safe account”, hand over your bank card or withdraw cash.

🚨 Remember
Your bank and the police will NEVER ask you to transfer money or hand over cash or bank cards to help with an investigation.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact your bank using the number on the back of your card, or call 159. Use a different phone if possible.

Please spread the word, particularly with older or vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours. ❤️

📍 Out and about today!
The team will be around Tibshelf for part of the shift before heading down to Hilcote Community Centre for our Community Catch-Up at around 12pm. ☕👮🏼‍♂️

If you’re in the area, pop along for a chat, raise any concerns or simply come and say hello. We’re always happy to have a catch-up and hear what’s happening locally! 😊

You know the drill 💪🏼😄 See you around today folks! 👋🏼

🌦️ Good morning, everyone! 👋

A bit of a mixed bag weather wise over the weekend 🌧️🌤️ but that hasn’t stopped us getting out on positive patrols and catching up with our communities!
🚔😊 Thanks to everyone we’ve spoken to so far.

☕ Community catch-ups continue! 📝

We’ll be at Newton Community Centre around 10:30am today, so if you’d like to have a chat with your local Police team, grab a pen ready and come and see us! 🖊️👮‍♂️ bring along any questions, concerns or requests for advice.

📅 Coming up too you can also book in to see us at:

📍 Thursday 22nd October

- ⏰ 9:30am – Newton Methodist Church
- ⏰ 11:00am – Blackwell Community Centre
- ⏰ 12:15pm – Woburn House

📍 Friday 23rd October

- ⏰ 12:00pm – Hilcote Community Centre

📍 Thursday 29th October

- ⏰ 9:30am – Newton Methodist Church
- ⏰ 11:00am – Blackwell Community Centre
- ⏰ 12:15pm – Woburn House

📢 I’ll be sharing our latest community priorities and November engagement dates shortly, giving you even more opportunities to book a catch-up with your local Police team.

Enjoy your day and hopefully the weather gives us a break from the four-seasons-in-one-day experience! 😂☔🌤️

See you soon!

👋 Hi all!

🌧️🌬️ Another busy day out and about with plenty of wet and windy moments along the way! The joys of October, eh? 🍂😂

🚔 We’re out and about for the rest of the weekend but in the meantime, if you’re heading out and about have a good one ! 👍

🛴⚠️ Just a little reminder to choose your mode of transport carefully.
We’ll always try and have a chat, educate, advise and warn where we can when it comes to things like Surrons and e-scooters, but please remember that continued use where it’s unlawful can and WILL eventually catch up with you.
When it does............ we may have no choice but to take further action.

🌧️ Take care, everyone, enjoy your weekend!
