🎃🍂 In the last couple of weeks before half-term, Mrs Morris’s ‘Books & Biscuits’ Curriculum Plus Club offered students the opportunity to create their own fabric pumpkins!

🧵 There was a fantastic display of creativity as students designed and made their pumpkins while developing and refining their sewing skills. The finished creations look amazing, and everyone should be proud of their hard work.

➕ Books & Biscuits will return after half-term and continue to run after school every Thursday.

Just before half-term, our Year 11 students took part in our annual Careers Fair.

🏢 We were visited by a number of post-16 providers in the area, giving students the opportunity to talk to representatives from a wide range of career paths - helping them to decide on their next steps!

Last week, despite the chilly weather, we made time in the library to celebrate all things Summer! ☀️

Two of our wonderful students received prizes for their hard work in completing the Summer Reading Bingo Challenge.

Lavenia K and Gracie B not only read some incredible books, but also visited their local libraries and bookshops, wrote reviews, and even created artwork inspired by their favourite books! Huge congratulations to both; it’s been lovely hearing what you’ve picked out with your vouchers!

✨ Interested in winning a bookish prize?
👀 Keep an eye out for more reading challenges coming soon!
