Well Halloween is over for another year, the YWR would like to thanks all our visitors over the two days

We welcome you to our Halloween event on Wednesday 28th and 31st October. The first ghost tain departs at 10am and last one 3.30pm. The cafe is open serving all sorts of spells visit the museum and meet the witches.
We look forward to giving you a warm 😱 scare

The 2027 calendars are now available to purchase from our website and and in our shop at Fimber. They make great gifts!

Our next events are Halloween on Wednesday 28th And Saturday 31st October. Children wear a costume and ride free with a fare paying adult.

🚂🚂Extension Launch🚂🚂

Sunday 18 October will see a special day at the YWR.

Please visit us to see:

👉Formal launch of the field 3 extension with small ceremony on the platform at 10.45 and special train departing at 11am

👉Andy Dunning and at least 20 static engines - including the Lister type D that celebrates its 100th birthday on 12 October

👉Spurn Landship on static display

We will be open from 10-4 (last train at 3.30) and it would be great to see you on site!
