Anchors and Juniors about to start and tonight we hope to find an T-Rex Detective among the Boys

Tonight’s Company and Seniors embarked on The Imposter Game tonight.

Great fun trying to work out from clues each supplied who was telling the truth.

Various versions of the game were enjoyed

Great fun and learning here for secondary School age and P7 age 11 as well.

Anchors and Juniors started on submarines negotiating while blindfolded mines placed across the floor. If it wasn’t for the navigators they would have been sunk to the very bottom.

Later we coloured in a page to wish their mum a happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mums. Your loved to the moon and back.

We had the Glasgow Batallion President Mr Brian McAlinden visiting us this evening. Seen below he is challenging our King’s Men Alex and Eden to a task involving advertising the BB at School.

Great fun with Company and Seniors here at 86th Glasgow Boys' Brigade

This game involves being disorientated while blindfolded and having to claim land while the opponent also does the same with instructions being given to go the wrong way. If you’re confused you need to come and see this.

It’s great fun for Boys in P7, S1-S3 and S4-6

There so many skills to pick up at Giffnock’s Boys Brigade at Orchardhill Parish Church Memorial Halls on Fridays 7.30-9.30.

If you know of any Boy sitting bored on a Friday evening send them along they are sure to have a great time.

The Company and Seniors met tonight and they were not to old to make pancakes so out came the ingredients again and pancakes were made and consumed with butter and jam and no comment like their younger members who were looking for all sorts of toppings!!

We then caught a bit of the Raith Rover v St Johnstone Game.

We heard about the fantastic trip that Andrew and Toby were on during the week when they went to Paris on a BB trip arranged by Mr Harkins at the 208th BB. Thanks to everyone involved in organising a brilliant 4 day away event.

We planned tonight for 4 of our members to go on a BB golf tie on 17/04/2026.

If you know any Boy who on a Friday night is sitting looking at a computer he could be here taking part and having a great time.

Another bumper night here in Giffnock at the 86th Glasgow Boys' Brigade

How talented the Boys were mixing ingredients pouring out batter to make hot pancakes. They had a break to play games and came back to tip their pancakes with all that could be imagined but guess what I got got to bring .. so it was butter and jam a or just plain. The Boys had a great time.

If you know of any Boys that would benefit from time here who are in P1 to P6 and attend Braidbar or Giffnock Primary’s get them along to see the fun that the Boys here have.
