Year 1 have had a fabulous morning at St. Ambrose's Church this morning. We learnt all about the special features inside of church and got to explore ourselves. We asked Vicar Paul lots of questions and have learnt so much!

What a fantastic start our Reception children have had! 🌟
They have settled into school life so beautifully and it has been wonderful to see their happy faces, growing confidence and curious minds each day. They have loved exploring every nook and cranny of our indoor and outdoor areas, discovering new things, making friends and enjoying lots of exciting learning through play. A particular favourite has been exploring Mr Mike’s Learning Village, where there have been plenty of adventures, investigations and opportunities to use their imaginations.
It has been lovely to watch the children become more confident and independent as they find their feet in their new surroundings. We are so proud of how brilliantly they have settled and can’t wait to see what exciting adventures await them next!

South Ribble School Games - Multi Skills Inclusion Festival
Have a look at what a great time our Farington Children had 🙂
Our Year 3 & 4 children had a fabulous afternoon at Worden Academy on Wednesday taking part in the South Ribble Games Inclusion Festival.
They joined children from 9 other local schools to get active, have fun and try something new in a really positive and inclusive environment.
The children rotated around 6 activity stations and loved trying new sporting opportunities including Axe throwing; Boccia; Target Throw; Handball and Co****le.
They showed fantastic enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout - we are so proud of them!
A huge thank you to South Ribble School Games for organising such a brilliant festival, to Worden Academy for hosting, and to the amazing young leaders who ran the activities so well.

Farington Football Update - KS2 Mixed League

What a difference a week makes!

Two weeks into the South Ribble School Games KS2 Mixed Football League and we could not be prouder of our Farington Team. Last week was a tough start with losses in our matches, but the children showed real resilience, teamwork and determination.
Last night they came back stronger and owned every pitch they played on - Wow! The progression from the whole team was amazing and extremely exciting to watch. We came away with two wins and one draw. Their passing, defending, encouragement for each other and sheer hard work was fantastic to see. Every single player has improved so much already, we couldn't ask for more.
Thank you to South Ribble Games for organising the League and to all the schools, young leaders and parents for your support.
Good Luck to our team for their matches next week - Keep it up, Farington! Aim High, Believe, Achieve - TOGETHER!
