Join our catering team and help us keep patients, staff and visitors well fed. As a Catering Supervisor, you’ll lead and support Catering Assistants to deliver safe, high-quality food and drink services.

It’s a varied, hands-on role where you’ll help organise rotas, oversee food safety checks, monitor quality, support staff and speak with wards and service users about our catering services. You’ll also help spot opportunities to improve the service and make sure everything runs smoothly day to day.

We're delighted to taking bookings for Christmas Lunch once again this year, and we hope you'll join us for a fabulous festive feast!

Prices will be: 1 Course £9.50 | 2 Courses £12.50 | 3 Courses £15.50. These prices include your staff discount 🎅

You need to pre-book your preferred date and menu choices by filling in the form and sending it in to your café. Bookings open on Monday 2nd November and close on Wednesday 18th November. You’ll also need to pay for your booking in full at your chosen Café by Friday 27th November.

This is a varied, hands-on role helping make sure hospital wards and departments receive the supplies they need. You’ll accept and sort deliveries, put stock away, help with weekly stocktakes and deal with delivery and goods queries. A significant part of the job involves working in cold-store environments, where we store food and meals for our patients- with temperatures as low as-22°C!

⏰ 20 hours per week, Monday- Friday 🕑 2.15pm – 6.15pm
💷 £12.92 (Above National Living Wage!)

As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play an important part in keeping the hospital clean, safe and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff. Your day could include cleaning wards and patient bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, offices and other shared areas. You’ll follow a regular work schedule, use cleaning equipment and products safely, and help us maintain the high standards expected across our NHS services.

Never worked in cleaning before? That’s okay! Previous experience is welcome, but we’ll provide full training if you’re willing to learn.

This weeks' Friday Appreciation goes out to Gayle! Gayle is the manager of our fantastic Property Team, helping to manage space and occupancy in our hospitals and buildings. This is the brilliant feedback she received from a clinical colleague last month:

“Colleagues and Gayle are managing a complex ward set-up across facilities that cover different CBUs. This involves changes to procedural and physical security that have to be explained to a wide group of people. The teams that use the services include various disciplines and when one of them raised a question, Gayle and her colleague took ownership, worked together and got some answers and a plan together in about 24hr. I felt heard and it was refreshing to see people acting with candour and focussing the safety task. It's really cheered me up, as well as the safety aspects."

🕒 Hours: 30 hours per week (including Bank Holidays and weekends)

Our Domestics are an important part of the hospital team. You could be cleaning wards, patient bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and other shared spaces, and this can sometimes be a challenge in a mental health hospital- but our teams find it rewarding to support better patient care.

We pay above the National Living Wage, and work on Bank Holidays and weekends gets an enhanced rate of pay!
