🌿🌸 CANTO Students Honoured at the Northampton in Bloom Awards! 🌸🌿

We’re incredibly proud that CANTO students’ hard work, commitment and positive attitude were honoured at the Northampton in Bloom Awards last week, in conjunction with East Midlands in Bloom and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

Our ongoing work with the Friends of Abington Park, led by our very own Trustee Tracey Davidson, was recognised for the contribution our students continue to make to the planting and development of the Covid Memorial Bed and Peace Garden in Abington Park.

We’re delighted to share the Outstanding Level 5 award with all the wonderful volunteers we work alongside. 🌱💚

A huge well done to all the students involved in this fantastic ongoing project. Your dedication makes a real difference to our local community, and you should be very proud! 👏

🌿 Making a Difference in Our Community! 🌿

The Monday Community Projects group have been working alongside Alistair McCarter at Ecton Village Hall over the past few months to improve and enhance the area around the hall.

Our students have been busy carrying out a variety of tasks, including clearing invasive plants from a listed wall, pruning recreation areas and fruit trees, and cutting back evergreen shrubs to maintain access to the village hall.

On Monday, the group were delighted to receive a generous donation of garden equipment from the Ecton Village Hall Committee, presented by Alistair McCarter.

On behalf of everyone at CANTO, we would like to say a huge thank you to the Village Hall Committee for this much-appreciated donation and for supporting our students in making a positive difference in the local community. 💚
