🚒 INCIDENTS 🚒
Yesterday, the crew from Eastwood had a very busy day responding to incidents across Nottinghamshire.
One of the most significant was a bungalow fire in Toton, which at its height, required 7 fire appliances from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire on scene. Crews worked tirelessly in challenging conditions to bring the fire under control and prevent further damage.
A huge well done to all personnel involved for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication to keeping our communities safe. 👏

Four breathing apparatus wearers were committed to tackle the fire using hose reel jets, while a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to assist with smoke clearance and improve conditions inside the property.
Thankfully, all occupants had safely evacuated prior to the arrival of the fire service.
Crews worked hard to bring the incident under control and remained on scene until approximately 02:00.
Ensure you have working smoke alarms and a clear escape plan in place. Early detection saves lives.
