🏆 Sixth Form Celebration Assembly 🎉

This week, our Sixth Form came together to celebrate the achievements, effort and commitment shown by our students throughout the term.

Students were entered into a prize draw for a £10 Amazon voucher through three categories:

🌟 Golden Ticket: Subject teachers each nominated one student in their subject in recognition of outstanding achievement.
📝 PSHE Quiz: Students completed our half-termly quiz, testing their knowledge of the topics covered during form time.

⭐ Star of the Week: Staff nominated students who demonstrated kindness, supported others or made a positive contribution to our Sixth Form community.

A special congratulations to our prize draw winners: Daisy W (O-ACA), Ty W (O-EW) and Oliver A (O-JQ)!

It was lovely to see our students’ hard work and kindness recognised and to celebrate their successes together. Well done to all those recognised!

A HUGE THANK YOU FOR DOGTOBER! 🐾

We are so overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of our amazing community! Thanks to your kind donations throughout Dogtober, we collected a fantastic haul of supplies for animals in need.

Today, we dropped off all the donated items to the wonderful team at Woodgreen Pets Charity. From delicious treats and yummy food to cozy blankets and fun toys, your contributions will make a real, comfort-filled difference to the rescued pets waiting for their forever homes. 🐶🐱💛

Every single item donated shows just how much love there is for animals in our community. We couldn't have done this without you—thank you for making Dogtober such a huge success!

Our sincere thanks for dropping these boots into the Football Rebooted box in Main Reception. Our PE classes will make fantastic use of them.

On Friday 13th November, we are excited to be supporting BBC Children in Need 2026!

Sawtry Village Academy will be taking part in a variety of activities to help support children and young people facing difficulties across the UK.

We have partnered with Football Rebooted to help recycle unwanted football boots and, in turn, support more of our Sawtry pupils in accessing our fantastic 3G pitch.

As only football boots can be worn on the artificial pitch, every student taking part in lessons on the 3G surface needs a pair. If you have any football boots that are no longer needed, please consider donating them so that another student can benefit from them.

All sizes are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Please place any donated boots in the collection box located in Main Reception.
