Open to secondary school pupils | Falkirk Schools Mural Competition | Free to enter
Are you a secondary school pupil in the Falkirk area with an idea for a public mural? We want to hear from you.
Apply individually or in pairs to design and help create a temporary public mural for Falkirk town centre. Up to 12 entries selected to work with a professional artist over July and August - with the finished mural unveiled at our Signature Celebration in August 2026.

We're looking for an experienced artist or artist team to create a significant new public artwork for Falkirk town centre. This is the flagship commission of Falkirk: From Place to Creative Space, delivered by Artlink Central and Falkirk Delivers with support from Creative Scotland.
All forms and media considered. The process includes an expression of interest, site visit, proposal development period and panel pitch - so shortlisted artists have time to develop their ideas before a decision is made.
