Hi

Did you know that fisheries can be a great source of inspiration for classroom learning? 🐟

Through the collaboration between SEAQIS and UGM, fisheries are explored as a way to make STEM learning more relevant to students’ everyday lives.

Over three days, participants explored practical applications of STEM through various topics, including aquaculture, aquatic pollution and fisheries product packaging. They also learned how gender equality and inclusivity can help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the fisheries sector.

Hi !

AI can help us find answers more quickly. But when it comes to education, does getting an answer always mean we are truly learning?

This was one of the thought-provoking reflections from Prof. Ismunandar, Ph.D.’s keynote at SICSE 2026. As AI continues to evolve, we are invited to think beyond what AI can do and consider what we, as humans, still need to do in the learning process.

Yuk, swipe through and explore the highlights from the keynote session!

💬 What do you think, ? Should AI make students work less, or think more?
