विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर आज गांधी स्मृति एवं दर्शन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष श्री विजय गोयल ने गांधी स्मृति परिसर में पौधारोपण किया।

इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री Narendra Modi द्वारा दिए गए ‘एक पृथ्वी, एक परिवार, एक भविष्य’ के मंत्र तथा मिशन LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) की भावना से प्रेरित होकर हम सभी को पर्यावरण संरक्षण को अपने दैनिक जीवन का अभिन्न हिस्सा बनाना चाहिए।

प्रकृति के प्रति हमारी जिम्मेदारी केवल एक दिन तक सीमित नहीं होनी चाहिए, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के सुरक्षित और हरित भविष्य के लिए सतत प्रयास हमारी जीवनशैली का हिस्सा बनने चाहिए।

On the occasion of World Environment Day, observed on 5 June 2026, the Director of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Shri Sanjeet Kumar, addressed the staff and highlighted the growing environmental challenges facing the world. He emphasized the need for collective action to protect nature and stressed that environmental conservation is a shared responsibility of every individual.
Speaking on the occasion, Programme Officer Dr. Vedabhyas Kundu drew attention to the multiple crises confronting the planet, including water scarcity, climate change, deforestation, and energy-related challenges. He noted that these issues are increasing vulnerabilities among large sections of the global population and called for greater awareness and sustainable practices.
As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, all staff members of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti actively participated in a tree plantation drive. The saplings were planted as a gesture of gratitude towards nature and a reaffirmation of the institution's commitment to environmental conservation.
The programme was organized in line with this year's World Environment Day theme, "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future." The event reinforced the importance of nurturing ecological balance and working together to build a sustainable future for generations to come.

आज गांधी स्मृति एवं दर्शन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष श्री विजय गोयल ने ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के विद्यार्थियों को आधुनिक शिक्षा से जोड़ने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल करते हुए पश्चिम चंपारण के सिरसिया अड्डा एवं कुमारबाग स्थित विद्यालयों के लिए डिजिटल शिक्षण हेतु प्रोजेक्टर सांसद डॉ. संजय जायसवाल जी को गांधी स्मृति में प्रदान किए।

इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के आह्वान पर चल रहे अभियान के अंतर्गत गांधी स्मृति परिसर में पौधारोपण भी किया गया, जिससे पर्यावरण संरक्षण और जनभागीदारी का संदेश दिया गया।

गांधी स्मृति एवं दर्शन समिति के निदेशक श्री संजीत कुमार ने कहा कि समिति शिक्षा, कौशल विकास एवं डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में ऐसे जनहितकारी कार्यक्रमों को भविष्य में भी निरंतर आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

चंपारण के बुनियादी विद्यालयों में डिजिटल शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल।

गांधी स्मृति, तीस जनवरी मार्ग द्वारा विद्यालयों को प्रोजेक्टर उपलब्ध कराए जा रहे हैं, जिससे बच्चों को आधुनिक तकनीक आधारित शिक्षा का लाभ मिलेगा और उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की मजबूत नींव रखी जा सकेगी।
