🌊🇨🇭 جنيف... حيث يلتقي نهران دون أن يمتزجا
في منطقة لا جونكسيون (La Jonction) بمدينة جنيف، يجري نهرا الرون (Rhône) والأرف (Arve) جنباً إلى جنب، في مشهد طبيعي يُعد من أكثر الظواهر الجغرافية تميزاً في سويسرا.
ينبع نهر الرون من نهر الرون الجليدي في كانتون فاليه (Valais) السويسري، قبل أن يمر عبر بحيرة جنيف التي تعمل بصورة طبيعية على ترشيح جزء كبير من الرواسب العالقة فيه، مما يمنحه مياهاً أكثر صفاءً ونقاءً.
أما نهر الأرف، فيتميز بجريانه الأسرع وطبيعته الأكثر اضطراباً يحمل كميات كبيرة من الرواسب أثناء انحداره من كتلة مون بلان الجبلية (Mont-Blanc massif) في منطقة أوت سافوا (Haute-Savoie) الفرنسية.
وبسبب اختلاف مستويات الرواسب وسرعات الجريان ودرجات الحرارة بين النهرين، يبقى كل منهما متميزاً بلونه وخصائصه لفترة من الزمن بعد التقائهما، قبل أن تمتزج مياههما تدريجياً في مجرى النهر.
بعد نقطة الالتقاء، يواصل نهر الرون رحلته عبر الأراضي الفرنسية حتى يصب في البحر الأبيض المتوسط.

كما ترتبط مدينة القرنة في الموروث المحلي بقصة جنة عدن.

🇨🇭 🌊 Geneva, two rivers meet… but don’t mix
At La Jonction, the Rhône and the Arve flow side by side, creating one of Switzerland’s most striking natural contrasts.
The Rhône originates from the Rhône Glacier in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, before passing through Lake Geneva, which naturally filters out much of its sediments, giving the river its clearer appearance.
The Arve, by contrast, is faster, more turbulent and laden in sediment as it descends from the Mont-Blanc massif in Haute-Savoie, France.
Because of their different sediment levels, speeds and temperatures, the two rivers remain visibly separated before gradually merging downstream.
After the confluence, the Rhône continues its journey through France and eventually flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

🇨🇭اطّلع السفير دانيّل هون على الاعمال الفنية في الدورة الحادية عشرة من مهرجان تركيب بغداد للفنون المعاصرة، برفقة مؤسسة تركيب وقيّمته الفنية السيدة هيلا ميفيس، والسيد شبير البلداوي، مدير المتحف الوطني للفن الحديث، المعروف أيضاً بقاعة كولبنكيان.
🎨 وسلّط المعرض الضوء على أعمال مجموعة من الفنانين العراقيين الشباب في مجال الفن المعاصر، وهم: ليلى سانسون، فاطمة ظاهر، سجى نجيب، علي زياد، صالح الحسن، مهند طه، عثمان التميمي، صنجات، شامل، عائشة الشبيب، عاطف الجفال، أنور أحمد، نور الوائلي، عمار الحميدي، لؤي الحضري، زيد سعد، نور عبد علي، وحسام محمد.
🎨 كما تضمّن المعرض أعمالاً فنية أُنجزت خلال ورشة للعلاج بالفن أُقيمت في بيت تركيب، مسلّطاً الضوء على الدور الذي يمكن أن تؤديه الفنون في دعم التعبير الذاتي والرفاه النفسي.

🇨🇭 Ambassador Daniel Hunn explored the 11th Tarkib Baghdad Contemporary Arts Festival, accompanied by Tarkib founder and curator Ms. Hella Mewis and Mr. Shubair Al Baladauwi, Director of the National Museum of Modern Art, better known as the Gulbenkian Hall.
🎨 The exhibition spotlighted works by young contemporary artists: Lail Sanson; Fathma Dhaer; Saja Najeeb; Ali Zeyad; Saleh Al Hassan; Muhaned Taha; Othman Al Tememi; Sanjat; Shamil; Aeshah Al Shabeeb; Atef Al Jaffal; Anwar Ahmed; Noor Al Waily; Ammar Al Hameedi; Loay Al Hadhary; Zaid Saad; Noor Abd Ali; Hussam Mohammed.
🎨 It also featured works created during an art therapy workshop held at Tarkib House.

🇨🇭 🤝 🇮🇶 زار السفير السويسري دانيّل هون المكتب الرئيسي لمؤسسة وصل تصل الإنسانية في مدينة الرمادي، للاطلاع على مشروع "تحسين البنى التعليمية في مدينة الفلوجة"، الذي تنفذه المؤسسة بالتعاون مع قسم تربية الفلوجة وبدعم من السفارة السويسرية في العراق.
🏫 🎨 وخلال الزيارة، استعرضت المؤسسة إنجازاتها في تجهيز وافتتاح مراسم فينية وقاعات إبداعية (وصل تصل) في 16 مدرسة للبنين والبنات ضمن مناطق النعيمية والنساف والحصي والصقلاوية.
🕊️ 🌈وتهدف هذه المساحات إلى توفير بيئة تعليمية آمنة ومحفزة للإبداع، تُمكّن الطلبة من التعبير عن أحلامهم وطموحاتهم من خلال الفن، وتعزز قيم السلام والتسامح والتعايش السلمي.
🕊️كما نفذت المؤسسة جلسة حوارية حول الآليات الإجرائية للوقاية من العنف والتطرف في المدارس، بمشاركة الكوادر التربوية وقسم تربية الفلوجة والشرطة المجتمعية وعدد من منظمات المجتمع المدني.
🕊️ يأتي هذا المشروع في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي ومنع التطرف العنيف من خلال الاستثمار في التعليم وتمكين الشباب.

🇨🇭 🤝 🇮🇶 Ambassador Daniel Hunn visited the headquarters of Wasel Tasel Humanitarian Foundation in Ramadi, where he was briefed on the project “Improving Educational Infrastructure in Fallujah,” implemented by the Foundation in cooperation with the Fallujah Education Directorate and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Iraq.
🏫 🎨 During the visit, the Foundation highlighted its achievements in establishing art studios and creative learning spaces in 16 boys’ and girls’ schools across Al-Nuaimiyah, Al-Nassaf, Al-Husay, and Al-Saqlawiyah.
🕊️ 🌈These spaces provide safe and inspiring environments where students can express their aspirations and talents through art while promoting the values of peace, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
🕊️The Foundation also organized a dialogue session on practical mechanisms for preventing violence and extremism in schools, bringing together educational staff, representatives of the Fallujah Education Directorate, community police, and civil society organizations.
🕊️The project is part of broader efforts to strengthen social cohesion and prevent violent extremism through education and youth empowerment.

🇨🇭 🤝 🇮🇶 زار السفير دانيّل هون محافظة الأنبار والتقى بمحافظ الانبار المهندس عمر مشعان الدبوس لتهنئته بتولّيه منصبه الجديد ولبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون.
وخلال الاجتماع، ناقش الجانبان فرص تعزيز الشراكات الاقتصادية والاستثمارية، إضافة إلى استعراض حالة الاستقرار وآفاق التطور الواعدة التي تشهدها المحافظة.
وأكد محافظ الانبار أهمية الانخراط الفاعل مع البعثات الدبلوماسية لدعم جهود التنمية وإعادة الإعمار في الأنبار، مجدداً التزام الحكومة المحلية بتهيئة بيئة جاذبة للتعاون في مختلف القطاعات.
وأعرب السفير عن اهتمام سويسرا بتعميق علاقاتها مع العراق ومحافظة الأنبار، مشيداً بما تحقق من تقدّم واستقرار خلال السنوات الأخيرة.

🇨🇭 🤝 🇮🇶 Ambassador Daniel Hunn visited the Governor of Anbar, Mr. Omar Mishaan Dabbous, to congratulate him on assuming his new position and to discuss avenues for enhanced cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides explored opportunities to strengthen economic and investment partnerships while also reviewing the stability and promising development potential the province is witnessing.
Governor Dabbous emphasized the importance of active engagement with diplomatic missions to support Anbar’s development and reconstruction efforts.
He reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment for collaboration across various sectors.
Ambassador Hunn expressed Switzerland’s interest in further deepening its relations with Iraq and Anbar Province, commending the progress and stability achieved in recent years.
