We are looking for volunteers to assist in the kitchen at the Gangnam Senior Welfare Center cafeteria in June.
If you sign up but don’t show up on the day of the event, the volunteers will have a hard time due to staff shortages. And you might not be able to attend, please don’t sign up.
Please give the opportunity to others who really need the volunteer hours.

Volunteers will distribute meals to seniors, guide them to their seats, wash the dishes, and clean the tables and floors.
A Volunteer portal VMS ID number is required to register volunteer hours. Sign up in advance on the volunteer portal.

[GangnamGVC] June 6th Korean Memorial Day
In observance of the 71st Memorial Day on June 6, 2026, a nationwide siren will sound for one minute starting at 10:00 a.m. to honor the patriotic spirit and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the country.
Please note that the siren sounding at 10:00 a.m. on Memorial Day is not a civil defense air-raid siren. Citizens are kindly requested not to be alarmed, but instead to observe a one-minute moment of silence in remembrance of the fallen heroes and then resume their normal daily activities.
