: Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Aniekwe Joins Ifite-Anam Kingdom in Celebrating Coronation and Maiden Ofala Festival of Igwe Sunday Udoji Ozoemena.

- The Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Aniekwe (Macpee) on Tuesday March 7, 2026, attended the Coronation and Maiden Ofala Festival of His Royal Highness, Igwe Sunday Udoji Ozoemena, Igwe Oranyelu 1 of Ifite-Anam.

The historic event, which marked the formal ascension and first Ofala celebration of the revered monarch, took place at the Ifite-Anam kingdom and attracted dignitaries, traditional rulers, community leaders, and sons and daughters of Anam and friends of the kingdom from within and outside the state.

Hon. Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe congratulated His Royal Highness, Igwe Sunday Udoji Ozoemena, describing his emergence as a well-deserved honour and a new chapter of unity, progress, and purposeful leadership for the community.

Hon. Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe also extended warm felicitations to the Igwe-in-Council, Stakeholders and the entire people of Ifite-Anam on the successful coronation and maiden Ofala celebration.

He prayed for a peaceful, prosperous, and impactful reign for the key, noting that strong traditional institutions remain vital to preserving Igbo culture, promoting peace, and fostering grassroots development.

Hon. Peter Aniekwe Felicitates Constituents at Easter, Urges Peace, Unity and Christlike Virtues

The Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Aniekwe (Macpee), has extended warm Easter greetings to his constituents, calling on them to embrace the virtues of Jesus Christ, especially love, sacrifice, peace, and perseverance.

In his Easter message conveyed through his Media Aide, the lawmaker noted that the death and resurrection of Christ remains the foundation of the Easter celebration, and it offers a guiding roadmap for peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and resilience among the people. He urged residents to imbibe these values in their daily lives for the progress of society.

Speaking further, Hon. Aniekwe emphasized that peace remains a key driver of economic and infrastructural development, stressing that no meaningful progress can be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour, division, or disharmony. He therefore encouraged constituents to promote peace in their homes, communities, and places of worship.

Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe, Member Representing the good people of Anambra East and West Federal Constituency has called on Christians in Anambra East and West Federal Constituency to imbibe the spirits of forgiveness, compassion and services to their fellow human beings as we mark the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and His death at Mount Calvary.

Hon Aniekwe urged the good people of Anambra East and West Constituency, Anambra State, Nigeria and the rest of the world to emulate the virtues of love, sacrifice and forgiveness among ourselves which Christ embodied and remarkable demonstrated during his earthly ministry.

He also called for love and unity among all the communities and ethnic groups irrespective of their differences and sufferings praying that the Country will be moving to another level of greatness where most of the people oriented needs must be meet by the special grace of the Almighty God.

Birthday Celebration: Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe celebrates Ubanese at 64.

The Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency has congratulated Senator Dr Alphonsus Obi Igbeke (Ubanese) on his 64th birthday, describing him as a Leader and ally.

Hon Peter Aniekwe, in a statement he personally signed, in Abuja on Monday, also called Senator Ubanese a Leader, a valuable friend and a brother.

“I rejoice with my friend and brother, Former Senator and Rep Member, Hon Dr Alphonsus Obi Igbeke on his attainment of 64 years on earth today, March 23rd.

“The attainment of this age is no doubt a confirmation of the grace the Almighty God has bestowed on him and a challenge for more service to our Zone, State and country, Nigeria.

“It is my prayer that God will continue to make the days of Ubanese on earth fruitful, with immeasurable blessings and robust health,” Hon Peter Aniekwe said.

"Ramadan is a period of deep reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth, its importance is more than the fast as it entails compassion, patience, and righteousness exemplified during the holy month."

In a goodwill message through his Media Director, Hon. Aniekwe commended their commitment to prayer, self-restraint, and acts of charity, emphasizing that such devotion strengthens faith and fosters unity among people of different backgrounds.

According to him, Mmilinaliugwu described Ramadan as a period of deep reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth, noting that the lessons learned should not end with the fast but should continue to inspire daily actions.

“Your sacrifice will not be in vain,” he assured, urging the faithful to uphold the values of compassion, patience, and righteousness exemplified during the holy month.
