On Monday, 26 October 2026, ahead of the inauguration of the Campaign Council of Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, His Excellency The Deputy Governor Of Kano State Alh Murtala Sule Garo participated in a Kano North Stakeholders’ Meeting, where They discussed strategies for mobilising support and securing over one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, from Kano North Senatorial District in the 2027 general elections.
Following the meeting, He represented the Executive Governor of Kano State at the inauguration of the Campaign Council of Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, Member representing Bichi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation.
The ceremony took place at the prestigious Prestige Hall, located at the Kabiru Bichi Foundation office in Bichi Local Government Area.
The campaign council will be headed by Hon. Sani Mukaddas Bichi as Director-General, with over 26 committees established to coordinate its activities, strengthen party structures, and facilitate grassroots engagement across the constituency and the state.
The inauguration marks an important step towards organising the campaign structure, promoting cooperation among stakeholders, and preparing for the 2027 general elections.
He commended Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, party leaders, stakeholders, and all members of the campaign council for their participation and commitment to the process.
He Then reaffirm His commitment to constructive engagement with political stakeholders and to promoting unity, peaceful political participation, and respect for democratic principles as preparations for the 2027 general elections continue.
Together, through dialogue, cooperation, and sustained grassroots engagement, we can strengthen democratic participation across Kano North Senatorial District and Kano State at large.
