Teachers and school heads from various schools of Cluster 12 gathered physically today, May 08, 2026, at the computer laboratory of Bernardino B. Bosque National High School to participate in the virtual orientation of regional and division office personnel, school heads, and teachers conducted by the Department of Education (DepEd) on the three-term academic policy.

The activity convened educators, aiming to give clarification on the system's structure, its implementation, and the expected outcome of the policy.

The onsite setup gave space for the teachers to take notes, work collaboratively, engage collectively, and discuss key points in the orientation and how to apply them in the classroom setting.

Dir. Ma. Gua Del Valle-Ramoso, Director III of the Bureau of Curriculum Development, one of the speakers of the orientation, explained the structure, schedules, and key points of the policy, highlighting the DepEd's aim to improve learning continuity, maximize instructional time, and reduce teacher workload throughout the school year.

The orientation is part of the DepEd's ongoing effort to ensure preparedness among the teachers for the policy changes and adapt to the evolving needs of the learners. Further sessions and technical assistance are expected to be rolled out for the full implementation of the new policy.
