DAVAO CITY — Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS), representing Cluster 4 – Secondary Level, proudly earned recognition in both the School and Individual Categories during the GADvocate Awards 2026 held on October 15, 2026, at Apo View Hotel, Davao City.
The awards recognize the school’s exemplary commitment to promoting gender equality, gender responsiveness, inclusivity, and the empowerment of all members of the school community through its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives and programs.
This remarkable achievement highlights the collective dedication of the school’s GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) in implementing gender-responsive programs, strengthening advocacy for equal opportunities, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environment for learners and personnel alike.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Emmy Lou C. Ty, School GAD Focal Person; Dr. William D. Enriquez, Principal III; and Dr. Leah M. Paña, Principal-in-Charge. Their presence underscored the school’s strong leadership support and collaborative commitment to advancing Gender and Development initiatives.
The recognition reflects the continuous efforts of the CBNHS community to integrate gender equality and inclusivity into school policies, programs, activities, and practices.
