The Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) conducted the Career Development Support Program (CDSP) on June 2, 2026, at the Library Audio Visual Room of Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) – Estancia Campus. The activity was represented by 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒓. 𝑱𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒗𝒐, with the support of 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒓. 𝑱𝒂𝒚 𝑹. 𝑫𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒔 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔, 𝑵𝑰𝑺𝑼 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒊𝒍 𝑰. In a continued effort to connect young Filipinos to meaningful employment and skills development, the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) conducted the monitoring of the Short-Term Employment Program (STEP) and Provincial Internship Program (PIP) in the municipalities of Carles and Sara. The monitoring activity was led by 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒔. 𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝒅𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒔 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒔, with the full support of 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒔. 𝑩𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝑮. 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒓 and 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒔. 𝑬𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑬. 𝑷𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒚, whose cooperation was instrumental in facilitating a smooth and productive visit.

STEP provides short-term skills training, while PIP offers provincial government internship placements that build real-world experience for the youth.

𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂 conducted the Cash for Work (CFW) monitoring and payout on June 2, 2026, simultaneously across the municipalities of Janiuay, Mina, and Barotac Nuevo, with the support of 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒖𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒔. 𝑹𝒉𝒐𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒂 𝑰. 𝑷𝒂𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂, 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒂-𝑷𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒔. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑪. 𝑷𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒆𝒛, and 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒄 𝑵𝒖𝒆𝒗𝒐 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒓. 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐 𝑩. 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏, whose coordination across the municipalities ensured the orderly and efficient delivery of cash assistance to all CFW beneficiaries.

During the simultaneous payout activities, 𝑴𝒔. 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂 delivered a message of support on behalf of 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒓 𝑹. 𝑫𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓 𝑱𝒓. underscored the provincial government's commitment to extending employment assistance to Iloilo's most vulnerable workers.

In a decisive move to advance youth employment readiness, the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), headed by 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒓. 𝑪𝒚𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒂 𝑷. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐, launched the Soft/Core Skills Training (SCST) for the JobStart Philippines Program (JSP) Wave 2026 on June 1, 2026, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). The 10-day training, which aims to develop the behavior, attitude, and values of JobStart trainees for career planning and the demands of everyday life and work, was held simultaneously at the Guimbal Training Center and the Iloilo Sports Complex.

𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐 delivered a message of support and reaffirmed OPPESM’s commitment to the JSP mandate of equipping young Filipinos with essential life and technical skills for employment. 𝑫𝑶𝑳𝑬 𝑰𝒍𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑴𝒔. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒚 𝑼. 𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂 was likewise present at the activity.

The Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), headed by 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒓. 𝑪𝒚𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒂 𝑷. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐, conducted the Career Development Support Program (CDSP) in two successive engagements at Northern Iloilo State University campuses in Lemery and Estancia, Iloilo on May 26 and May 28, 2026, in pursuit of its mandate to equip graduating students with essential competencies for employment.

The program was carried out across two separate engagements. At NISU Lemery Campus on May 26, 2026, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐 served as resource speaker at the NISU Lemery Campus Career Coaching Activity, held in conjunction with the On-The-Job Training Culminating Activity, where she delivered the topic "Career Readiness and Employability Skills for Graduating Students."

The second CDSP session took place on May 28, 2026, at NISU Main Campus Covered Court Gymnasium in Estancia, Iloilo, organized in partnership with NISU–Estancia with the support of 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒊𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏. 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐 delivered the OPPESM message on the conduct of the CDSP before 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑫𝒓. 𝑹𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒚 𝑩. 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒛, 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒔 𝑫𝒓. 𝑮𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒂 𝑬. 𝑫𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒎𝒂, 𝑬𝒙𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐒𝐌 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐔 𝟒𝐓𝐇 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐒

In line with its commitment to employment facilitation and job accessibility, the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), headed by 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒓. 𝑪𝒚𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒂 𝑷. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐, joined the 4th University Job Fair 2026 on May 28, 2026, at NISU Main Campus Covered Court, V. Cudilla Avenue, Estancia, Iloilo, in partnership with Northern Iloilo State University (NISU) Estancia Main Campus and with the support of 𝑵𝑰𝑺𝑼 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒊𝒍 𝑰. 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏 and 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒇𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒔 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑫𝒓. 𝑱𝒆𝒇𝒇 𝑮𝒆𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆 𝑽. 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒂 𝑰𝑰.

During the program, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐 delivered a message of support and underscored OPPESM’s commitment to expanding job opportunities and strengthening employment partnerships across the province. 𝑫𝑶𝑳𝑬 𝑰𝒍𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑫𝒓. 𝑨𝒓𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝑬. 𝑺𝒊𝒂𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈 was likewise present and delivered a message during the opening program.

𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝑰 𝑴𝒔. 𝑬𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒂 and 𝑷𝑬𝑺𝑶 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒔. 𝑾𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑮𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐 facilitated the activity and ensured the smooth delivery of employment services to all participants.
