With temperatures felt in Los Baños, Laguna reaching up to 40°C, the UPLB Corps of Cadets once again opened its doors to provide free water and ice for the UPLB community from May 6 to 8 in front of the UPLB DMST Lobby.

From students and teachers to jeepney drivers and everyday workers, this small initiative became a way to help the community stay hydrated and refreshed throughout the day. Seeing people stop by with their tumblers, share smiles and sighs of relief, and take a short break from the heat made the activity even more meaningful and rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who supported and participated in the activity. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and we hope to see you again on the next one! 💦
