Mural Contest Highlights Youth Advocacy for West Philippine Sea
TANAY, Rizal โ Lt. Col. Jeoffrey G. Braganza, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Civil-Military Operations (Taga-aktas) Battalion, CMOR, Philippine Army joined the launching of the Bangon Bayan Program at Camp Gen. Macario Sakay, Barangay Lalakay, Los Baรฑos, Laguna.
The event featured a Pledge of Commitment and a Mural Painting Contest participated in by ROTC cadets and youth artists under the theme, โProtecting and Preserving the West Philippine Sea,โ promoting patriotism, resilience and national unity among the youth.
Lt. Col. Braganza reaffirmed the Battalionโs commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen civic responsibility and encourage active participation in nation-building.

2nd CMO Battalion Showcases CMO Enhancement Capabilities to PCU Delegation
TANAY, Rizal โ A delegation from Philippine Christian University (PCU), led by Brig. Gen. Ramon Santos (Ret.), Philippine Army, visited the headquarters of the 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Philippine Army, at Bigkis Lahi Hall, Camp Gen. Mateo Capinpin to gain insights into the unitโs Civil-Military Operations (CMO) programs and initiatives.
The delegation was welcomed by Maj. Orlando M Casipit Jr., Philippine Army, Executive Officer of the 2nd CMO Battalion. During the visit, Maj. Casipit presented the battalionโs mission, functions and key initiatives, emphasizing the role of CMO in strengthening cooperation among the military, local communities and various stakeholders in support of peace and development efforts.
The engagement provided the PCU delegation with a deeper understanding of the Philippine Armyโs CMO best practices and community-centered programs.
The visit also underscored the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the military in promoting leadership, civic responsibility and nation-building among future community leaders.

2CMOBn Personnel Participate in Bloodletting Activity for SOLCOMโs 39th Founding Anniversary
TANAY, Rizal โ Personnel of the 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Philippine Army, joined the Simultaneous Bloodletting Activity at the 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter), Division, Philippine Army, Camp Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal in celebration of the 39th Founding Anniversary of the Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM).
The activity underscored the commitment of Army personnel to humanitarian service by helping replenish local blood reserves and support life-saving efforts. Through this initiative, the 2CMOBn continues to demonstrate its dedication to public service and community welfare beyond its operational responsibilities.

Outreach and Feeding Program Brings Support to Elderly Residents in Tanay
TANAY, Rizal โ The 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion (2CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, led by LTC JEOFFREY G BRAGANZA INF (GSC) PA facilitated an Outreach and Feeding Program at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Haven for the Elderly in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal.
The activity was spearheaded and generously supported through the donation of reservist partners of 2CMOBn, headed by 1st Lt. Dexter O. Tiu (Res), PA, and 1st Lt. Nelson C. Dy (Res), PA. Their initiative provided meals, essential support, and meaningful interaction for the elderly residents, bringing comfort and encouragement to the beneficiaries.
The outreach activity highlights the strong partnership between the Philippine Army and its reservist stakeholders in promoting community welfare and extending assistance to vulnerable sectors.
It also reflects the shared commitment of 2CMOBn and its partners in fostering compassion, social responsibility, and service to the community.
