𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆, 𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐞𝐋𝐆𝐔

In compliance with Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the DILG and DICT Regional III conducted the Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) Training for the Municipality of Porac, Pampanga on September 21–25, 2026. The five-day training aimed to promote streamlined, digital, and more efficient government processes and service delivery.

The training provided participants with hands-on learning and technical guidance on the implementation of the eLGU system to strengthen digital government services and improve service delivery. Among the services covered by the system are the Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS), eCedula, Local Civil Registry (eLCR), and eNews, which help LGUs reduce manual transactions and provide more accessible and convenient services to citizens and businesses.

The initiative underscores the continuing collaboration between DILG and DICT in advancing digital transformation at the local level. Through initiatives such as the eLGU Training, LGUs are empowered to harness technology in promoting efficient, transparent, responsive, and citizen-centered public service.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞,𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

In observance of National Crime Prevention Month and National Clean-Up Month, the DILG Pampanga conducted its monthly Provincial Team Conference (PTC) anchored on the theme, “Clean Communities, Safer Futures: Advancing Peace, Order, and Collective Responsibility.” The conference highlighted the shared responsibility of government personnel, LGUs, and communities in promoting clean surroundings, responsible citizenship, environmental stewardship, and public safety.

The activity likewise incorporated the observance of Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAM) in compliance with the Department's Initiative in protecting the country’s marine resources and coastal communities.

In her opening message, Provincial Director Myra B. Moral-Soriano extended her warmest appreciation to DILG Pampanga personnel for their commendable efforts and contributions that led to the province being recognized as a Gold Awardee in LG-CDD PEAKS and a Top Performer under the Provincial and Cluster Categories in MEDCOMS. Also, she encouraged everyone to remain proactive in identifying gaps and addressing deficiencies, particularly those that may be noted in succeeding audits, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement and accountability in public service.

The conference concluded with a renewed commitment among DILG Pampanga personnel to uphold excellence, strengthen partnerships with LGUs, and contribute to building cleaner, safer, and more resilient communities across the Province of Pampanga.

The DILG Pampanga Provincial Office, headed by Provincial Director Myra B. Moral-Soriano, conducted its Manila Bay Cleanup, as part of the quarterly compliance of the program.

The activity strengthened DILG Pampanga’s commitment to promoting effective environmental management and served as an avenue to help clean up and address the aftermath of the flooding experienced by the province in recent months.

The participation in the cleanup demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental initiatives and reinforced the importance of government leadership in promoting cleanliness and sustainability.

𝘿𝙪𝙘𝙠, 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙: 𝘿𝙄𝙇𝙂 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 3𝙧𝙙 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙎𝙀𝘿

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Pampanga Provincial Office actively participated in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), reinforcing its commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and resilience.

Through the drill, personnel were given the opportunity to practice the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol and assess their readiness to respond effectively during an earthquake.

Beyond being a routine exercise, the NSED reminds us that preparedness must be practiced before disaster strikes. Every second counts, and knowing what to do can save lives.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐬

Bringing government services closer to the people, the Provincial Government of Pampanga, under the leadership of Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda, joined the nationwide simultaneous conduct of “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat” on September 14, 2026, at the Kingsborough International Convention Center in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The Handog ng Pangulo initiative brought together -national government agencies, local government units, and partner organizations in a unified effort to provide accessible, responsive, and meaningful public services to Kapampangans, particularly those from vulnerable and underserved sectors.

Through the one-stop service activity, beneficiaries were able to access a wide range of government programs and assistance, including:

-Livelihood, Agriculture, and Enterprise Assistance
-Social Protection and Welfare Services
-Health and PhilHealth Services
-Education, Training, and Employment
-Legal and Civil Registration Services
-Senior Citizen and Other Government Services

A key highlight of the Handog ng Pangulo was the Ceremonial Distribution of Cash Gifts under Republic Act No. 11982, or the Expanded Centenarians Act (ECA). The National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) awarded ₱10,000 cash gifts to qualified Kapampangan senior citizens who reached the ages of 80, 90, and 95, recognizing their invaluable contributions to their families and communities.

The Provincial Government of Pampanga likewise showcased its commitment to accessible healthcare through its flagship Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program. The initiative provided free medical consultations, pneumococcal vaccinations, and diagnostic services, including X-ray and 2D echocardiogram, through the Lab For All Mobile Clinic.

The successful conduct of Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat was made possible through the strong collaboration of the Provincial Government of Pampanga with various national government agencies and partner organizations, including the DILG, DA, DepEd, DOLE, DOH, PhilHealth, DTI, DOJ/PAO, LRA, DAR, DENR, DMW, DSWD, CHED, TESDA, NBI, NCSC, NHA, NIA, PSA, PNP, and the IBP Pampanga Chapter.

Through this collective effort, essential programs, government assistance, and frontline services were brought together in one venue—making public service more accessible and responsive to the needs of the people.

In Pampanga, the spirit of Handog ng Pangulo continues to bring government closer to every Kapampangan—delivering serbisyong sapat, serbisyong para sa lahat.
