STREET DANCE COMPETITION
September 8, 2026
📍RULES AND MECHANICS
1. The competition is open to all interested dance groups from Iloilo and Capiz.
2. Each group must have a minimum of 7 dancers and a maximum of 15 dancers.
3. A participant may compete for only one group.
📍PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Each group must prepare an original and entertaining Street Dance routine.
2. The performance should showcase street dance styles such as Hip-Hop, Popping, Locking, Breaking, Waacking, Krump, House, or other related styles.
3. The routine must be performed within 3–5 minutes.
4. Music must be prepared and submitted by the participating group no later than September 7, 2026.
5. Props are allowed, provided that they are safe, easy to set up and remove, and do not damage the venue.
6. Dangerous stunts, lifts, or movements are allowed, but the group assumes full responsibility for any resulting injury or consequences.
7. Costumes must be appropriate for a public/community event.
📍COMPETITION MECHANICS
1. The order of performance will be determined through draw lots.
2. All participating groups must be present at the designated assembly area before the competition.
3. Groups must be ready when their names are called.
4. Failure to appear after being called may result in a point deduction or disqualification, depending on the decision of the organizers.
5. Each group will be given only one official performance.
6. Judges’ decisions will be based solely on the official judging criteria.
📍JUDGING CRITERIA
Choreography - 30%
Ex*****on - Power, Intensity and Clarity of Movements - 20%
Content, Creativity, and Artistry - 20%
Entertainment Value and Impact - 15%
Stage Presence, Attire, and Music - 15%
TOTAL 100%
1. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
2. The organizers reserve the right to modify the mechanics when necessary, provided that all participating groups are properly informed.
3. By registering, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by all rules and regulations of the competition.

1st Runner Up - 5,000
2nd Runner Up - 3,000
