The DENR TSPS, LGU-San Remigio, Philippine Coast Guard, and Barangay Hagnaya successfully conducted a Coastal Clean-Up Activity in Brgy. Hagnaya, San Remigio in observance of Philippine Environment Month 2026.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of protecting and sustainably managing our coastal and ocean resources while fostering environmental awareness and community responsibility. Through collective action, we contribute to preserving the beauty and ecological integrity of our marine environment for future generations.

In preparation for the upcoming 128th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, a Coordination Meeting was successfully conducted by the Office of the Municipal Tourism Office to ensure the smooth and meaningful implementation of the municipality’s commemorative activities.

The meeting was spearheaded by Event Coordinator Niño Kim Anthony Burca and Municipal Tourism Head John Carl Borbon, bringing together key officials and partner agencies whose collaboration is vital to the success of the celebration.

Present during the meeting were Municipal Administrator Atty. Mary Lean Golisao, SB Secretary Isolde Burlaos, and representatives from various municipal offices, national government agencies, and stakeholder groups involved in the event.

The coordination meeting served as a venue to discuss program details, logistical arrangements, security measures, and the collective roles and responsibilities of participating offices. Through strengthened collaboration and shared commitment, the Municipality of San Remigio continues to uphold the spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride as we commemorate the sacrifices and triumphs of our forefathers in the pursuit of Philippine freedom.
