A successful benchmarking activity with Rural Health Unit of Del Carmen at Santa Monica Primary Care Facility.

The visit highlighted the sharing of best practices, healthcare innovations, facility operations, patient care services, and strategies in strengthening primary healthcare delivery for the community. Through collaboration and continuous learning, both institutions continue to work hand in hand toward accessible, quality and patient-centered healthcare for every Juan.

Thank you, RHU Del Carmen, for the meaningful exchange of knowledge and experiences. Together, we move forward in building stronger and healthier communities.

๐Ÿšจ PUBLIC ADVISORY TO ALL TOURISTS AND LOCAL RESIDENTS ๐Ÿšจ

We warmly welcome all tourists and local residents to our municipality. We kindly remind everyone to respect the rules and policies of our health facility.

Our health center is a place of healing where patients, mothers, newborns, children and other vulnerable individuals receive medical care. To maintain a safe, clean and peaceful environment, all posted signages and facility regulations must be strictly observed including:

โ€ข No Smoking and No Va**ng
โ€ข Keep Noise to a Minimum
โ€ข Limit the Number of Companions
โ€ข Respect Health Workers, patients and their Families

Recently, our facility responded to an emergency involving a group of Israeli nationals who were brought in after a vehicular accident. While our team was fully prepared to provide immediate medical assistance, several members of the group entered the facility in a disruptive mannerโ€”speaking loudly and smoking and va**ng inside the premises despite clearly posted โ€œNo Smokingโ€ signs both inside and outside the facility.

At the time of the incident, a mother and her newborn baby were admitted in our birthing facility. Maintaining a quiet, clean and smoke-free environment is essential to protect the health and safety of all patients.

We understand that emergencies can be stressful, but all individuals regardless of nationality or backgroundโ€”are expected to follow our facility policies and show respect to healthcare workers and fellow patients.
