𝐕𝐑𝐎 | The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢, under the supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, AND under the guidance of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, conducted Values Restoration Program for the personnel with a theme 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒.

𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟐 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐆 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚 emphasized that purposefulness is the driving force behind effective public service—it transforms duty into mission, strengthens discipline under pressure, and ensures that every action contributes to public safety, institutional excellence, and the greater good of the nation.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The 𝚃𝚊𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚋𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝙹𝚊𝚒𝚕 - 𝙵𝚎𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢 under the leadership of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and under the direct supervision of 𝐒𝐉𝐎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲, Acting City Jail Warden, successfully conducted 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 among personnel and selected Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with drug-related cases.

The activity was undertaken in partnership with the Tacloban City Health Office, with valuable assistance from personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office VIII and the unit nurses. The conduct of simultaneous drug testing and search operations forms part of the Bureau’s intensified efforts to strengthen security measures, uphold discipline, and ensure strict compliance with policies against illegal drugs within the jail facility.
