Atoa lang ipahibalo sa tanan nga according to Tagbilaran City Solid Waste Management Office (TCSWMO), adunay mga areas sa Barangay Cogon nga wala makolektahi ug basura tungod kay naguba ang usa sa ilang garbage trucks. Sa pagkakaron, 2 out of 3 trucks lamang ang operational, mao nga dili gyud malikayan nga adunay mga lugar nga dili ma-cater, labi na sa mga sudlonon nga dalan.

Ang ubang route unta kay sakop na sa atong Barangay collection, apan nagpadayon pa ta sa pagpa-assist sa TCSWMO samtang gi-fabricate ug gi-extend pa ang sidings sa atong bag-ong dump truck aron mas daghan ang makarga ug mas episyente ang serbisyo.

👉 Kung dili makuha ang inyong basura sa scheduled collection, palihug ibalik kini sulod sa inyong panimalay ug siguroha nga properly segregated ang mga basura. Hinumdumi nga dili modawat ang atong collectors ug basura nga wala na-segregate.

Ongoing today ang Day 1 sa 7-day Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) in Barangay Cogon under the EU-PH Green Economy Partnership together with ERGONS, GIZ, TCSWMO, BSWMO, ug TCEMO.

Present during the activity are Barangay Captain Geneson L. Balbin, Barangay Kagawad Jerome M. Dacullo, Solid Waste Manager Aquillo Espinosa, together with the BSWMO Personnel - Adelo Ybañez, Niño Ybanez and Jhay-ar Aceron conducting waste monitoring, collection, and assessment gikan sa identified households ug establishments.

The Barangay Solid Waste Management Office respectfully informs all constituents of Barangay Cogon that the Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) will officially be conducted from 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟖–𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as part of the environmental initiatives under the EU-PH Green Economy Partnership Program in coordination with ERGONS Project Marketing Consultant and GIZ, together with the TCSWMO, BSWMO, and TCEMO of Tagbilaran City.

This important environmental activity aims to gather accurate and data-driven information regarding the volume, composition, and management of waste generated within the community. The collected data will serve as basis in strengthening the City’s Solid Waste Management System and in developing more effective environmental policies and sustainable waste reduction programs.

For the duration of the 7-day activity, a total of 40 identified households and 13 commercial establishments selected by the concerned offices will participate in the study. Their generated waste materials will be monitored, collected, and analyzed daily by the assigned Barangay Solid Waste Management Personnel.
