PECU AGUSAN DEL SUR ENSURES SAFETY FOR PALARONG PAMBANSA 2026

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, under the supervision of PMAJ KAROL JOSEPH A RICAFORT, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 13, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Agusan del Sur conducted security coverage through police presence, paneling, and sweeping operations for the Palarong Pambansa 2026 at the Santa Irene National High School, Brgy. Santa Irene, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

This comprehensive security coverage highlights the Group's enhanced operational readiness to ensure a safe and successful national sporting event. The Group remains steadfast in its commitment to securing Palarong Pambansa 2026 through heightened visibility and strategic personnel deployment across all competition venues.

PARTNERING WITH PROJECT A.B.K.D. (AWARENESS OF BOMBS THAT KILL LIVES AND DESTROY PROPERTIES) FOR A SAFER TOMORROW

In alignment with the PNP Focus Agenda, personnel of the Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (PECU) Occidental Mindoro, under the Regional Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (RECU) MIMAROPA, successfully conducted a lecture on Project ABKD (Awareness of Bombs that Kill live and Destroy properties).

The initiative was carried out under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and through the guidance of PMAJ ARVIN J DIMAILIG, Officer-in-Charge, RECU MIMAROPA.

The activity was held at the DENR Building, Protected Area Management Office located in Brgy. Poblacion, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. A total of seventeen (17) participants, consisting of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) staff and forest rangers, attended the lecture.

The presentation focused on enhancing the participants' capability to recognize, report, and appropriately respond to potential bomb threats and explosive hazards, thereby protecting both human lives and government property within their sector.

SECU MAKATI CONDUCTS PROACTIVE SECURITY OPERATIONS FOR HIGH-PROFILE US OFFICIAL VISIT AT FAIRMONT/RAFFLES RESIDENCES

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA, JR, Officer-In-Charge, RECU-NCR, personnel from the Station EOD and Canine Unit (SECU) Makati conducted security coverage through paneling and sweeping operations for the Official Visit of Mr. Michael Ellis, Senior Intelligence Officer of the United States in Manila at the Fairmont/Raffles Residences Hotel, Makati City.

These preventive measures are vital in preempting any potential threats. Through a heightened presence at key venues, the Group remains committed to ensuring the safety and providing a secure environment for this significant engagement.

BOGO CITY FAST SUCCESSFUL AMMUNITION SURVEILLANCE AND ORDNANCE TURNOVER

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of the Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ ARNULFO L JACABAN JR, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 7, personnel from Bogo City FAST successfully conducted an ammunition surveillance and inspection at the 701st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7, Brgy. Banban, Bogo City, Cebu.

During the operation, the unit's Operation PNCO officially turned over a military explosive ordnance, which is not linked as evidence to any active criminal court case and was safely transported to the regional office for secure safekeeping while awaiting final disposition.

This successful recovery underscores our strengthened operational readiness. It reflects our commitment to community safety by ensuring that hazardous materials are managed with professional precision and unwavering dedication.

PECU LANAO DEL NORTE INTENSIFIES PUBLIC SAFETY MEASURES THROUGH TARGETED JUNKSHOP VISITATIONS

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ LENARD RELOJ CARANDANG, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 10, the personnel of Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Lanao del Norte conducted junkshop visitation at Poblacion, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

Through targeted junkshop visitations, the Group proactively monitors and deters the illegal trade and proliferation of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) and vintage munitions. These routine inspections not only educate operators on the extreme dangers of handling explosives but also ensure public safety by establishing a direct line for immediate reporting and recovery.

AVSECU NAIA EIRT CLEARS AND SECURES UNATTENDED ITEM AT NAIA TERMINAL 3

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ JOSEPH P ESCURO, Officer-in-charge, AVSECU, personnel of the Aviation Security EOD and Canine Unit (AVSECU) NAIA EIRT successfully neutralized a potential security concern involving an unattended baggage at the Food Hall, NAIA Terminal 3, Pasay City.

The cleared item was turned over to the Lost and Found Section, New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) Terminal 3 following a formal inventory.

This successful intervention underscores our strengthened operational readiness and commitment to a secure environment for every traveler.

DECU-MPD RESPONDS TO BOMB THREAT AT MANILA CITY HALL

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ ALEJANDRO L PARTA, JR, Officer-In-Charge, RECU-NCR, personnel of the District EOD and Canine Unit (DECU)-Manila Police District (MPD), responded to an alleged bomb threat at the Manila City Hall.

The responding units immediately conducted a thorough paneling operation across the premises. The search yielded negative results, confirming the threat was a hoax.

Following the successful operation, the City Security Force was advised to heighten security, and the case was turned over to Ermita Police Station 5 personnel for follow-up investigation.

This successful intervention underscores our strengthened operational readiness and our commitment to maintaining a secure environment, safe from all threats.
