𝑅𝑇𝐶 𝐸𝑋𝐸𝐶𝑈𝑇𝐼𝑉𝐸 𝐽𝑈𝐷𝐺𝐸 𝑉𝐼𝑆𝐼𝑇𝑆 𝐵𝐽𝑀𝑃 𝑇𝐴𝑌𝑇𝐴𝑌 𝐷𝐼𝑆𝑇𝑅𝐼𝐶𝑇 𝐽𝐴𝐼𝐿

MAY 28, 2026 – Hon. Anna Leah Y. Tiongson-Mendoza, Executive Judge of RTC Branch 164, Roxas, Palawan, together with her staff, paid an official visit to BJMP Taytay District Jail.

During the activity, the Judge toured the facility to personally observe the condition of the jail and evaluate the welfare of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). She also interacted with the PDL, offering legal insights and addressing various paralegal concerns raised during the discussion.

The visitation reflected the judiciary’s continuing commitment to uphold the rights and welfare of PDL through active engagement and coordination with jail authorities.

BJMP Taytay District Jail expressed its sincere appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the importance of strengthened partnership between the courts and jail management in promoting humane treatment, access to justice, and the protection of PDL rights.

This is under the supervision of JCINSP GILBERT B ANZA, Acting Jail Warden, guidance of JCSUPT CLARENCE E MAYANGAO, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, and JCINSP SANTIAGO B BUMOLYAD JR, Provincial Administrator of Palawan Province.

The BJMP Taytay District Jail proudly takes part in the ROTC Graduation Ceremony of San Brendan College, Inc., where JO1 Rio C Saban was invited as Guest Speaker.

Guided by the theme “Discipline, Leadership, and Service for the Nation,” the ceremony emphasized the importance of shaping responsible and service-oriented youth. JO1 Saban delivered an inspiring message to MABANGIS CL 05-26, highlighting the value of discipline in building strong character, leadership anchored on integrity, and wholehearted service to the country.

His message served as a motivation for the ROTC graduates to apply the lessons they have learned and to carry forward the ideals of honor, duty, and patriotism as they enter a new chapter of their journey.

𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡-𝗨𝗣 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘

Taytay District Jail under the supervision of JCINSP GILBERT B ANZA, Acting Jail Warden, personnel of this unit voluntarily conducted the Clean-up drive activity.

This activity aims to physical cleanliness, environmental pollution free and reducing the garbage, the initiative also served as a reminder of the value of discipline, cooperation, and responsibility. By instilling these practices, the activity reinforced the importance of maintaining not only a safe and secure facility but also a place that upholds dignity and well-being for everyone, held at Sitio Montevista, Brgy. Poblacion, Taytay Palawan.

𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐘𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐋𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐒

In support of the “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan” (BIDA) Program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and “Oplan Linis Piitan,” personnel of Taytay District Jail, under the leadership and supervision of JCINSP GILBERT B ANZA, Acting Jail Warden, together with personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Taytay Municipal Police Station, and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Taytay, conducted a joint greyhound operation inside the jail facility.

The operation aimed to flush out all forms of contraband and maintain a zero-contraband environment to prevent any untoward incidents within the facility. The activity was conducted peacefully and orderly, with no untoward incidents recorded. Likewise, no contraband was confiscated during the operation.

𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐑𝐔𝐆 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in coordination with Taytay District Jail personnel under the leadership and supervision of JCINSP GILBERT B ANZA, Acting Jail Warden, conducted an orientation seminar for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) on drug awareness and prevention inside the jail facility. The activity aimed to educate the PDLs about the harmful effects of illegal drugs, the importance of rehabilitation and reform, and the government’s continuing campaign against illegal substances through the “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan” (BIDA) Program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

During the activity, PDEA personnel also discussed the necessary requirements and measures for maintaining a drug-cleared facility, emphasizing the responsibilities of both jail personnel and PDLs in ensuring a safe, secure, and drug-free environment within the jail facility.
