Polo National High School mourns the passing of Dr. Deody Fabroa, Master Teacher II of the Senior High School Department. A dedicated educator and mentor, he devoted his life to shaping minds and inspiring excellence. His commitment to teaching, leadership, and service left a lasting mark on both his colleagues and students.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he transformed and the values he instilled. May we honor his memory by continuing the work he so passionately carried out. Our heartfelt condolences go to his family and loved ones during this time of loss.

Alam mo ba na ngayong 2026, ayon sa Gartner, ang Preemptive Cybersecurity ang pinakamalaking trend sa cybersecurity? Hindi na sapat ang "detect and respond" (maghintay ng attack tapos ayusin) — kailangan na pigilan ang threat bago pa ito magsimula! Ito'y proactive defense na gumagamit ng AI, predictive analytics, at smart tools para i-predict, i-block, at i-trap ang mga hacker nang maaga.
Bakit sobrang importante 'to sa school at online learning?

Para sa mga Estudyante:

Proteksyon sa personal data mo (grades, projects, emails) — hindi na madaling ma-hack ang school accounts o Google/Teams files.
Safe na mag-research online o mag-submit ng assignments — walang takot sa phishing links o ransomware na maaaring magdulot ng lost work.
Sa future jobs (IT, engineering, business), malaking plus ang pag-unawa sa preemptive security — companies need people who prevent breaches, hindi lang mag-fix!

Para sa mga G**o:

Mas secure ang class materials, student records, at virtual classes sa Microsoft Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint.
Gamitin ang built-in tools sa Microsoft 365 Education (hal. advanced threat protection) na may preemptive features — auto-block suspicious emails o links bago makarating sa inbox.
Turuan ang students tungkol dito: Ipaliwanag kung paano gumagana ang "3 D's" ng Gartner — Deny (pigilan ang access), Disrupt (abutin ang attack habang nangyayari), at Deceive (lokohin ang hacker gamit ang fake decoys)!

Sa Pilipinas, mas kailangan 'to dahil sa rising online threats sa education sector. By 2030, inaasahan na mahigit 50% ng security budget ay para sa ganitong preemptive solutions!

Paalala: Cybersecurity ay hindi lang para sa IT — lahat tayo dapat maging aware at responsible online. Preemptive approach = peace of mind sa digital classroom!

Matagumpay na iwinagayway ng Ang Bagong Pag-asa at The New Hope Publication ang bandila ng Polo National High School sa katatapos lamang na 2026 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) na ginanap sa Maysan Elementary School.

Nag-uwi ng iba’t ibang parangal ang mga Polonian Campus Journalists sa parehong individual at group categories, patunay na hindi lamang sa akademikong larangan nangingibabaw ang mga Polonian, kundi maging sa sining ng pamamahayag na nagsisilbing tinig ng katotohanan at boses ng komunidad. 🎙️

Kaugnay nito, didiretso sina De Guzman (Lathalain) at Dizon (Agham at Teknolohiya) patungong Las Piñas kung saan gaganapin ang Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) upang harapin ang panibagong hamon at tahakin ang landas patungong National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) sa Tacloban. ✈️
