The Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT) has launched the National Computer Emergency Response Team – Seychelles (CERT-SC), a major step forward in securing the nation’s digital landscape.
CERT-SC will lead the charge in cyber threat monitoring, incident response, awareness building, and coordinating national efforts to defend against cyber threats.
On Thursday, 17th July, the Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT), in collaboration with the Trade Division Seychelles, held two stakeholder engagement sessions.
In the morning, clearing agents were invited, and in the afternoon, organisations who regularly use the iepermit eService attended. The purpose of the sessions was to guide participants on:
✅ How to register for their SeyID
✅ Upcoming changes to the iepermit login process
✅ The requirement to onboard organisations to the BizAuth portal
DICT delivered a comprehensive presentation, training attendees on how to register for SeyID, which will soon be required to log in to the iepermit eService.
Additionally, users must onboard their organisations onto the Biz Auth portal 👉 https://www.bizauth.gov.sc to ensure continued access, as the iepermit eService will be transitioning from the eGateway portal to the new monServis portal 👉 https://www.monservis.gov.sc
The sessions were highly interactive, with valuable discussions and feedback shared by attendees.
📢 Reminder to All iepermit Users:
If you currently use the iEpermit eService, please ensure you:
- Register for your SeyID
- Onboard your organisation on the Biz Auth Portal to transact on behalf of your organisation: 👉 https://www.bizauth.gov.sc/Guide
This is essential to maintain access when the platform transitions later this year.
