We were honoured to welcome Celebrity Chef Mel Dean, who spent the evening preparing a delicious nasi liwet for iftar to the children and youth at Darul Ihsan. 🍽️
Sharing a warm meal together made this Ramadhan evening even more meaningful. The girls truly enjoyed the food, the experience, and the kindness behind it. 💚

Last week we had in the kitchen 💚
Here’s a short recap from the day. Chef Zarifah shared about her joy in volunteering and giving back to the community, and it was really nice seeing her spend time with the girls at Darul Ihsan!
There was lots of laughter, good food and great bonding! 😆

Yesterday, our girls got more than a makeup session — they got to meet an empowered woman who leads with purpose.
Thank you Ms Alisa, founder of Glow Cosmetics Singapore, for spending your time and heart with our girls. Ms Alisa shared how she started Glow with a simple mission: creating beauty products that are easy to use, high-performing, and empowering for everyday women. Beyond makeup, Glow is also a community — a space where women can feel confident, supported, and inspired to grow, personally and financially.
And that’s exactly why their presence matters here.
When our girls meet women like them — women who build, lead, and uplift others — it plants something powerful in them: “I can be that too.” They learn that confidence isn’t something you’re born with… it’s something you grow through guidance, example, and safe spaces.
Makeup is beautiful, yes — but the real lesson was deeper: be proud of yourself first. Makeup should enhance, not become something we hide behind.
From all of us, thank you Alisa and team for inspiring our girls with kindness, confidence, and hope.

Last week, Roche joined us at Darul Ihsan Orphanages for a special Gift Handover Ceremony. 🎁
Through their Christmas Gifting Programme, gifts and essentials were distributed to our children and youth from both the girls’ and boys’ homes.
