As our nation celebrates its 61st National Day, our Combined Uniformed Groups (UG) stepped up to honour Singapore with unwavering discipline, passion, and pride! ❤️🤍

A huge, special shout-out to LCP Anjana and Preethika, who represented our unit at the official 61st National Day! 🌟 Marching on the national stage is no easy feat—they sacrificed countless weekends and devoted immense effort into intense trainings, all while balancing their Weighted Assessment (WA) preparations. Your sheer dedication and resilience have truly inspired us all! 🙌✨

Back on home ground, a massive thank you goes out to all our dedicated cadets, cadet leaders and Cadet Inspector Man Zi! 👏 From pushing through the grueling heat at the parade square to perfecting every drill command during a hectic assessment week, your commitment to the school’s NDP celebrations was nothing short of exemplary. You showed us what true UG spirit looks like! 💪🔥

To our NDP contingent and UG family: thank you for embodying the true spirit of resilience and loyalty. You’ve made the entire school immensely proud! 🔴⚪

Majulah Singapura! 🎉🇸🇬

Recently, our New Town Secondary NPCC cadets joined hands with the police officers from Queenstown Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) for a meaningful community outreach program at Dover Estate, raising awareness about the ScamShield app! 📱🔒

In an era where digital scams are becoming increasingly complex, our cadets and Queenstown NPC officers stepped up to ensure our neighbors—especially our seniors—are equipped with the tools to stay safe online. 🤝✨

We are immensely grateful to the officers from Queenstown NPC for guiding our cadets throughout the session, and to the residents of Dover Estate for welcoming us with open arms, patience, and warmth! ❤️

Through this collaborative effort, our cadets gained far more than just community service hours—they stepped out of their comfort zones, learned alongside real frontline officers, and emerged as more confident and empathetic communicators! 🎤💪

A huge shout-out to our cadets and Queenstown NPC for serving as dedicated community guardians and keeping our neighborhood safe, one household at a time! 🌟👏

10% camp planning, 90% reacting to the weather forecast. ☀️➡️⛈️

A huge shoutout to our 18 Sec 2 cadets for bringing their A-game to the Area 14 & 15 Adventure Training Camp! This 2D1N was a literal roller coaster—we started the day sweating under the blazing sun and ended it at 4 a.m. running away from a torrential downpour into the nearest shelter. 🏃💨🌧️

It was wild, it was eventful, and it is officially a core memory.

The highlight? Meeting and bonding with awesome cadets from all the different units across A14 & A15. Shivering under the shelter together at 4 a.m. turns out to be a great way to make lifelong friends! 🤝✨

Congratulations to Kai Jie who attained the NTSS Best Unit Camper & Xin Xiu who received the Overall Best Female Camper! Way to go, both of you!!

Thank you to everyone who kept their spirits high and the camp energy buzzing. New Town pride, through rain or shine! 🫡🛡️

POV: Trying to memorise your WA2 study notes and 40+ drill commands at the exact same time. 🥵📚🥾

Shoutout to our amazing Drill Competition Team who were honoured on stage for clinching the Zonal Bronze Award! 🥉✨

With only 16 cadets selected from the entire unit, the stakes were high. Training shifted into hyperdrive right during the WA2 period, proving that our cadets excel not just in discipline, but in time management. Whenever the ground got hot and legs grew heavy, this squad looked out for one another and pressed on.

Standing ground against 11 other powerhouse schools in the Zonal Finals was no small feat, but New Town showed up and showed out. ⚡

Huge gratitude to our dedicated Teacher Officers, Unit Instructors, and our VP Mrs Tye for presenting the medals. To the squad: thank you for trusting the voice on the square! 🫡🛡️
