Native American Heritage Month is a time to celebrate Indigenous cultures, histories, and contributions. As we observe this month, we recognize the Doeg, Tauxenent, and Piscataway peoples, whose ancestral homelands include present-day Arlington County.

We're also excited to spotlight three Indigenous leaders with disabilities whose work in advocacy, education, the arts, and cultural preservation is strengthening communities, advancing disability justice, and preserving knowledge and traditions for future generations.

Golden hour, great teammates, and a big goal on the horizon. With just one week until our Try-athlon main event on November 7, our athletes are making every training session count. Whether they're powering through laps on the track or taking a moment to soak in a beautiful sunset, they're focused on one thing: beating their own personal best.

The finish line is in sight, and we can't wait to cheer them on as they put months of training to the test. Let's go, athletes. You've got this!

Mother Nature kept us indoors, but that didn't stop the fun! We brought the campfire experience inside, complete with s'mores, native critters, and lots of time to connect with new and familiar friends. Our Adult and Teen Social Clubs had a fantastic kickoff event!
