From one end of the district to the other, our school cafeterias have been serving up delicious meals, big smiles, and plenty of fun! 🎪

This week, we celebrated the amazing students, dedicated staff, and hardworking kitchen teams who make school lunch special every single day. From creative decorations and themed menus to the everyday moments that make a difference!

Congratulations to Clyde Hamrick Elementary for winning our Free and Reduced Meal Application Contest! 🏆🎉

Our Fox C-6 Food Service team came together for professional learning focused on safety, teamwork, problem-solving, and serving our students well. From working through real-life scenarios to learning how to put out fires (literally! 🔥🧯), our team gained valuable skills to take back to our kitchens.

Proud of this team and all they do behind the scenes every day to keep our students safe, well-fed, and ready to learn! 🍎👏

Our Staff Recognition Committee selected the first Rockport Staff Member to Spotlight. Courtney Sturges, Kitchen Manager at Rockport Heights Elementary.

Mrs. Rainwater, Ms. Beekman, Mrs. Rodaway, and Mrs. Scott selected Courtney for "her outstanding dedication, hard work, and the care she shows our school community every day. Her kindness, positive attitude, and commitment to ensuring our students receive nutritious meals makes a difference far beyond the cafeteria. She creates a welcoming environment, supports students and staff with a smile and helps make our school a better place every day."

Free & reduced-price meal applications are open now!

The Fox C-6 School District participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, giving families the opportunity to apply for free or reduced-price meals for their students. A new application needs to be completed each school year.

Applications are now live for the 26-27 school year! Apply online through the Infinite Campus, Campus Parent portal or mobile app.

From a desktop/laptop:

Log in to the Campus Parent portal → Click “More” → Click “Meal Benefits” → Click “Meal Benefits Application” to begin.

From the mobile app:
Tap the three lines in the top left corner → Tap “More” → Tap “Meal Benefits”.
