OIF, OEF, and OND Vets - listen up.

You're navigating the same systems as earlier generations of Veterans, but you're operating with less time and even more outside pressure. That’s part of why this year’s We CARE Vet Fair™: Northwest Georgia event is structured across two days.

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Veterans Service Officers will be on-site to work with Veterans of all eras, addressing claims, facilitating VA Healthcare registration, and answering questions about the benefits that you have earned.

But that's not all...

Thursday morning, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, there will be a focused engagement session at the Forum River Center in Rome for our Women Veterans of all eras, with an emphasis on wellness, access to benefits, and more. Hosted by the Georgia Department of Veterans Service (GDVS) in partnership with United Military Care, this session provides direct access to professionals who can assist with VA benefits questions and enrollment in VA healthcare services.

Community partners will also be onsite offering wellness services including chair massage, acupuncture, yoga, and related resources focused on overall well-being.

At 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, we want the entire Northwest Georgia community to join us on the Town Green to celebrate our Veterans with a FREE concert from Brother Mojo, featuring special guest Mason Thompson!

Then on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, our VA and GDVS team will be back along with all our community partners. Everyone will be on-site all day, providing free services for the full We CARE Vet Fair™: Northwest Georgia event.

Our promise: over 100 organizations and an entire community of qualified, caring professionals working side by side to help Veterans and families answer their important questions, at no cost, in one place.
