While visiting Texas on Tuesday, President Trump and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the EPA's latest proposal revising the Biden EPA’s oil and natural gas regulations under the Clean Air Act (CAA), known as OOOOb/c. The rule proposal is expected to save $45 billion in costs to consumers and businesses, including families and small businesses operating marginal wells, and unleash an estimated 210 million additional barrels of oil and 1.41 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, according to the EPA: https://tinyurl.com/3zzm5799 .

The Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association continues to champion meaningful permitting reform. 🛠️🇺🇸

Last week, the association joined The American Petroleum Institute and over 130 industry and labor organizations urging Congressional leaders to act before the end of the year and pass bipartisan permitting reform legislation.

In a letter to House and Senate leaders, the groups warned that lengthy permitting delays are driving up costs, holding back investment and slowing the infrastructure Americans need. The coalition called on Congress to seize a rare bipartisan opportunity to modernize the nation's permitting system and strengthen economic competitiveness.
