Yesterday, we celebrated an incredible milestone as 100 Stars from the Class of 2026 graduated from the Ann Richards School and officially joined our growing alumni community.
Together, these graduates earned nearly $26 million in merit-based scholarships, submitted 859 college applications, and received 548 offers of admission. This fall, they will attend 47 colleges and universities across 22 states, Canada, and the Netherlands.
Their success is part of a larger legacy. Since 2013, 1,224 Ann Richards School graduates have earned more than $227 million in merit-based scholarships and continue to make an impact in their communities and careers.
As we celebrate the Class of 2026, we are also celebrating the next generation of young women leaders who will carry forward the values of leadership, service, and academic excellence that define the Ann Richards School experience.
Congratulations to our newest alumni. We cannot wait to see where your journeys take you next.

Our Class of 2026 Stars officially became part of Ann Richards School history during one of our most cherished traditions: Senior Portrait Day.
With smiles, laughter, and lots of photos, seniors placed their portraits on the Alumni Wall of Honor, leaving their mark alongside the remarkable classes who came before them.
For the next year, their faces will inspire younger Stars every day as reminders of what is possible.
We are so proud of the incredible legacy the Class of 2026 accomplished.

We are excited to welcome Jodi Granado as the new Principal of the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders.
Jodi brings nearly 16 years of experience in education, serving students and families as a teacher, graduation coach, and school leader across Central Texas. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at LASA, where she helped foster a culture of academic excellence and student success.
As a first-generation college graduate, Jodi's commitment to creating opportunities for young people is deeply personal. Her leadership is grounded in relationship-building, high expectations, and ensuring every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
"What inspires me most about the Ann Richards School is that we get to build a place where young women won't ever have to wonder if they belong because they'll know it from the moment they step through the door."
We look forward to partnering with Jodi as we continue preparing our Stars to become the courageous young women leaders our world needs.
Please join us in welcoming Jodi to the Ann Richards School community.

We were sad to hear the news yesterday that Malin, the Pease Park troll, burned down. Our Stars in Travis Audubon's Young Women in Conservation group loved their visit. Hoping to bring a little joy and light with a photo of our Stars from October 2024 to share the importance of public art projects.

StarFest brought learning to life at the Ann Richards School as our Stars welcomed families, friends, and community members for an evening of creativity, innovation, and discovery.
Classrooms transformed into interactive galleries where guests practiced Spanish while collecting passport stamps during ¡A Viajar!, tested their luck at the Probability Carnival, explored sustainable school designs created by sixth-grade Stars, and viewed student-created video games, animations, artwork, films, and research projects.
Visitors also experienced engineering projects ranging from hydraulic scissor lifts and smart home models to senior capstone designs that addressed real-world challenges.
Science was on full display as Stars shared environmental science investigations, chemistry and physics projects, and biomedical research, including work connected to cancer research collaborations with The University of Texas at Austin.
The evening also featured outstanding performances from our Band, Choir, Dance, and Orchestra programs.
More than an exhibition, StarFest was a celebration of the confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills our Stars develop every day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate their learning and accomplishments!
