- 18 – Fire Alarms
- 2 – Cancelled Calls
- 1 – Law Enforcement Assist
- 1 – Odor Investigation
- 3 – Reported Fires

- 1 – Mutual Aid
In addition to responding to calls for service, department members participated in multiple training evolutions throughout the month to maintain and strengthen operational readiness.
Water Rescue Team
The Bay Head Fire Department continues to expand its water rescue capabilities. In August, the department established its Water Rescue Team to provide additional emergency response capabilities for after-hours water rescue incidents at Bay Head Beach.
During September, the program took another significant step forward and is now a joint effort between the Bay Head Fire Department and members of the Bay Head Police Department
Members of both departments have been training together in ocean rescue operations, water-related emergencies, and missing-person search operations. This partnership provides Bay Head with an additional coordinated public-safety resource when lifeguards may not be on duty or when an incident requires additional personnel.
Continued joint training and development of the team are planned as we work to further enhance Bay Head's water rescue and emergency response capabilities.
Mutual Aid
The Bay Head Fire Department would also like to thank our mutual aid partners from Point Pleasant Beach for their assistance during a box alarm assignment for a fire on Bridge Avenue this past month. Ocean Fire CompanyPoint Pleasant Beach Fire Company #2, and our EMS Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad
Mutual aid partnerships remain an important part of the fire service, and we greatly appreciate the continued cooperation and support of our neighboring departments.
We thank all of our members for their continued dedication, training, and service to the Borough of Bay Head.
