It can be difficult lining up a large number of people for a photo. When half of the the group consists of the Omaha Supernovas, its less challenging. Thanks to Coach Laura Kuhn and her team for jumping into the photo with our deputies! We had new applicant testing this morning and the Supernovas were good sports about sharing space!

Officers briefly shut down Eastbound Highway 370 just before 42nd St. for a high risk stop on a stolen vehicle. The roadway has since been reopened and one person is in custody.

🚨 End of an Era: Sgt. McDaniel Retires 🚨 Today marks the final shift for Sgt. McDaniel, badge #128, with the Bellevue Police Department as he enters retirement after an incredible 29 years of service to our community. Sgt. McDaniel dedicated most of his career to uniformed patrol, alongside valuable years as a Detective. Over the years, he held numerous roles, including Field Training Officer, S.W.A.T. operator, Bike Patrol Officer, and served as both Secretary and President of F.O.P. Lodge 59. He was honored as Officer/Detective of the Year in 2001. Known for his dependability, hard work, and willingness to always lend a helping hand, Sgt. McDaniel’s sense of humor and friendly smile will truly be missed. Sgt. McDaniel, thank you for your unwavering commitment to our community.
