There’s nothing better than seeing the face of compassion out in the wild. 🫶 Devona representing our practice at the Bridging Hope For Safer Communities event today—reminding everyone that healing isn’t just behind closed doors. It happens in our neighborhoods, too.

May 8th | 10AM–2PM 💚
I’m honored to share that Eunoia Counseling & Consulting will be serving as a vendor for the 2nd year at Nurture of Alabama’s 5th Annual Mental Health Day in partnership with the City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office and the Birmingham Park & Recreation Board.
This beautiful, community-centered event is all about connection, hope, and access. There will be food trucks, a live DJ, line dancing, giveaways, and engaging activities for all ages — because mental health belongs to all of us.
I’ll be there sharing resources, offering encouragement, and connecting with individuals and families who are ready to prioritize their well-being in meaningful ways. Our goal is simple: that every person leaves feeling seen, supported, and empowered with affordable, accessible tools for healing.
If you’re in the Birmingham area, come out and bring a friend. Let’s celebrate mental health in a way that feels joyful, affirming, and rooted in community.
I can’t wait to see you there. 💛

Reading up on interventions for anti-oppressive clinical supervision to finalize the curriculum. 🌱
Supervision shouldn’t just be about caseload management; it should be a space where we critically examine power, context, and identity.
I’m so excited to open the doors for my upcoming Social Work Supervision cohort. If you’re looking for a supervision/consultation group that prioritizes reflective practice and social justice, let’s connect.

Healthy relationships aren’t perfect — they’re respectful, communicative, and safe to grow within. You can disagree and still feel emotionally safe. You can be close and still be yourself.
Save this as a reminder of what you deserve. 💛
