Repairs on the paved trails at Bush Lake Park are scheduled to begin the last week of April. This work will occur in two phases. Phase 1 will run late April through early May and will address cracks, root damage, and other uneven surfaces. Sections of the trail system will temporarily close while work is being done but will be reopened as soon as surfaces are once again safe for foot and bike traffic. Trail users are advised to use caution and pay attention to all construction signs.

Phase 2 follows these repairs and will occur in June and July with two Monday – Thursday closures of trail sections to allow Three Rivers Park District contractors to perform resurfacing work as part of their routine maintenance program. This project is intended to improve overall ride quality and extend the life of the pavement.
