Meet Keila. She’s the backbone of our office. Answering calls, setting up appointments, keeping our intricate system straight, and in between that, managing my many ideas on how to reach families. When Keila isn’t doing Oasis things, she enjoys watching movies, trying out new cafés, and planning her next trip.

Family is also one of the reasons she enjoys this work so much. Like many of us, she understands how important it is to help families find the right support and resources for their loved ones. When two worlds come together...

When I first entered the world of aging services, I knew no one. Orion became a place to connect, learn, and share knowledge with others who are passionate about supporting older adults.

To my surprise, I recently reconnected with an old professional colleague, Elizabeth Knell. We once worked together at the incredible design firm Stranger & Stranger, then took very different paths, only to arrive in a similar space.

Today, Elizabeth is a death doula, and I focus on helping families navigate the complexities of senior living. What a lovely surprise, and a testament to the power of Orion in bringing people together.
