🚸 The City of Caldwell has installed a High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal at S. Indiana Ave and Fairoaks in front of Caldwell High School to improve safety for students and community members crossing Indiana Avenue.
⚠️ Please slow down, stay alert, and follow the signal when activated.
The new roundabout at Linden Street and Ward Road is open to traffic!🚗
Construction was completed on time and the roundabout is now open to traffic.
Improvements included:
· Constructing a single-lane roundabout.
· Adding sidewalks and bike lanes.
· Installing a signalized pedestrian crossing.
· Adding street lighting and landscaping throughout the project area.
Crews will wrap up final work over the next few weeks, including sweeping the roadway and finishing landscaping.

🚧Kimball Bridge Update
Over the next couple weeks crews will continue to place large rocks (rip rap) in Indian Creek. In addition, crews will be relocating utility lines near the creek.
In late June, crews plan to bring in a large crane on the south side of the creek for shoring work.
