CRTPO - Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization

Our TCC meeting, initially scheduled for June 4, has been canceled. Our next TCC meeting will take place on July 2. Our June Board meeting will still take place on June 17.

We will have our May board meeting this Wednesday.

Our May Technical Coordinating Committee meeting will take place tomorrow, May 14 at 10 am. Note that we will be meeting in Room 280 this month.

It was a pleasure to show the UNCC Urban Planning Club around the Government Center last Thursday and give students a better idea of how the Planning Department shapes, connects, and designs great places for our thriving communities.

Special guests from Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) and Charlotte Department of Transportation joined the CRTPO to explain how transportation infrastructure is planned in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Students got to put their new knowledge to the test while playing a version of the Growing Better Places board game, facilitated by the Long-Range Planning division.

CLOSURE: The Caldwell Station Greenway will be closed until further notice due to the Bailey Road extension road construction.

We will update our pages when the greenway reopens.

A reminder that our board meeting was canceled for this month.
