Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in your community?

GiGi's Playhouse Charlotte is seeking volunteer Literacy and Math Tutors to help individuals with Down syndrome build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and achieve their goals through our one-to-one tutoring programs.

No teaching degree is required. We provide the curriculum, training, and support you need to make a lasting impact. What matters most is your commitment to showing up consistently for our participants and families.

Tutor enrollment opens May 31! Volunteers must be 18 years or older to ensure consistency and continuity throughout each tutoring session cycle.

Every hour you give helps unlock potential, build confidence, and change lives.

Join us TOMORROW for an important Town Hall with physicians from Atrium Health at GiGi's Playhouse Charlotte as we come together to listen, learn, and share our experiences within the Down syndrome community. Families, caregivers, self-advocates, and individuals with Down syndrome are all encouraged to participate.
