Just gonna answer this question once and for all.

“Are you guys going to be open year-round?”

And by “you guys,” we mean BOTH of us:

🌊 the View at Skipjack Cove
🌊 the View at Worton Creek

Well… do YOU go out to eat year-round?! 🧐

Because WE DO.

And we also LIVE HERE year-round — minus a vacation here and there when we finally escape before someone needs us to change a keg, make a schedule or unclog something. 🤣

So the answer is…

YES. ABSOLUTELY. BOTH LOCATIONS.

Well… 11 months out of the year.

We’re basically on Santa’s schedule. 🎅😂

We work our asses off February through December… and then in January, WE SNOOZE.

And because both Views share the same hours, we’ll make this part easy:

Monday: 4–9 PM kitchen
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 4–9 PM kitchen
Friday: 12–9 PM kitchen
Saturday: 12–9 PM kitchen
Sunday: 12–9 PM kitchen

And before somebody asks… YES, the bars are obviously open later than the kitchens. 🍸

The ONLY exception will be the month of January.

We plan to close both locations for January each year so we can tackle maintenance, deep cleaning, repairs, projects and all the other glamorous s**t that comes with owning restaurants.

It also gives our crews — and quite frankly, US — a little time to breathe, spend time with our families, sneak in a vacation and recharge before we open those doors again and hit the ground running.

But February? OPEN.

Spring? OPEN.

Summer? You already know.

Fall? OPEN.

Football season? OPEN.

Christmas season? OPEN.

Cold rainy Thursday when you don’t feel like cooking? OPEN.

That random February Sunday when you’ve been trapped in the house long enough that your spouse’s chewing is starting to p**s you off?

BOTH VIEWS ARE OPEN.

So please… COME SEE US.

Because if everyone keeps asking whether we’re staying open 11 months out of the year but nobody actually comes out to eat 11 months out of the year, we’re gonna have ourselves a little problem. 😳

We’ll keep the lights on, the kitchens cooking, the cocktails pouring and the waterfront Views waiting for you.

You just keep showing up. ❤️

Apparently finding somewhere to eat in Kent County on a Monday is damn near an extracurricular activity. 😂

So… we fixed that.

Today, the View at Worton Creek is OPEN….at 4pm!

And because simply opening on a Monday wasn’t enough, we brought the wings with us. 🍗
