Every year, the Run, Walk & Roll at the Flying Pig brings our LADD community together for fun, encouragement, and achievement. 🐷🧡
This year, participants shared how long they’ve been doing the race, from first-timers to people who have joined us for over a decade! No matter how many years they’ve participated, we are proud of every single person who makes this event so special. Thank you to everyone who joined and supported us at the 2026 Flying Pig, we can’t wait for many more years together!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “More Good Days, Together.” 💚
A good day can look like a lot of things...a familiar routine, a kind conversation, a creative outlet, feeling safe, feeling seen, feeling connected. Whatever a good day looks like for you, we believe everyone deserves more of them. And we believe we get there together, by showing up for each other, building the right support, and creating communities where everyone belongs.
This month, we’re inviting you to pause and reflect: What does a good day look like for you? ☀️ Drop it in the comments and share one small thing you can try this week to make more good days possible for yourself or someone you love.👇
The State of Disability Town Hall creates space for voices to be heard, experiences to be shared, and conversations that move us forward. Just a few reasons why this event is so important to our community. Because real change starts with listening. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event!!

Springing into service with Huntington Bank 🌿🌸🧹
Thank you to our volunteers today for coming out to help keep our homes beautiful. One group helped pull weeds in our blue ash cluster while the other group helped clean and organize the pantry at our Find-A-Way location. LADD is so grateful for the support of our volunteers.🧡
Why do we love the Run, Walk & Roll at the Flying Pig?
Because it’s FUN. Because it helps us stay healthy. Because crossing the finish line feels amazing. Because showing up to support each other means everything.... No matter the reason for racing, one thing is certain, everyone had a blast and made this event unforgettable!
Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, volunteered, and supported our LADD community along the way. We couldn’t do it without you! 🤍
A proud moment for LADD 🧡
Blair Whitt, ANCOR’s 2026 Ohio DSP of the Year, was also honored locally with April 27th officially declared Blair Whitt Day in Hamilton County.

“People with disabilities want to be respected and treated just like everybody else.” - Lynn
Lynn’s story is one of resilience, strength, and the fight to be treated with dignity. Catch this episode next week on the Never Fade Away podcast.
Last week, LADD’s State of Disability Town Hall brought together members of our Empowerment Committee and local elected officials to discuss the issues that matter most to people with disabilities in our community.
When individuals have the opportunity to share their experiences directly, it creates space for understanding, advocacy, and real change. It was a powerful evening of conversation and connection. 🤝
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make their voices heard.
