🏈 Praying for Salem. Standing with Our Seminoles. One Rockdale.
As Chairwoman and CEO of Rockdale County, my heart is with the Salem High School Seminoles and everyone impacted by the recent bus accident. I am thankful that no lives were lost, and I ask our community to join me in praying for the healing, strength, and full recovery of every student, coach, and every staff member involved.
We are also lifting up their families, friends, and loved ones, who are carrying their own worries and concerns during this difficult time. May they find comfort, peace, and reassurance in knowing that an entire community is standing beside them.
In moments like these, we are reminded that we are more than neighbors—we are one community. Let us surround the Salem Seminoles family with compassion, encouragement, and support as they navigate the road to healing and move forward.
I want to thank our first responders in the community for their dedicated service and quick response.
When one part of our community hurts, we all feel it. Through faith, kindness, and a willingness to help, we can remind everyone affected that they are not alone.
Please join me in keeping the Salem High School football team, coaches, staff, their families, and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
May God bring healing to those injured, comfort to those concerned, strength to those recovering, and hope to all as we move forward together.
